Create a great ice skating scene on a frozen over lake surrounded by snow.

Craft Project Directions:

To create great winter ice skating scene, you will need a couple of things.

First take a piece of aluminum foil and cut out a large oval shape- this will be your iced over pond.

Place this on a piece of blue background construction paper and added cotton ball snow with glue around the pond.

Next cut out skaters using the templates provided, decorate them, and arrange them as you want on the pond and you will have a wonderful skating scene!

Ice Skating Craft Template

Cinderella's Pumpkin Coach

A Real Pumpkin Coach fit for a Princess!

Craft Project Directions:
Select a nice round pumpkin and carve a door on one side of it. Scoop out the insides of the pumpkin and clean out the pumpkin. Set your pumpkin aside.

Now to create the frame for the coach you will need: 4 CDs, 2 wooden dowels (several inches wider than your pumpkin), pipe cleaners, and a piece of cardboard.

Take the cardboard and cut out a circle that is somewhat larger than your pumpkin. Next take the dowels and push them through the CDs to create to axels for your coach.

Wrap pipe cleaners on either side of the wheels to keep them from slipping down the dowels. Next rest the cardboard circle on top of the wheel base.

Mark where the axels are and remove. Now punch two holes near the end of the axle of each wheel- you will thread pipe cleaners through the holes and around the axles to secure the coach and wheels together.

When you are finished with that place your pumpkin on the coach and decorate! Add a passenger inside the coach if you wish!

Pop-Up Pumpkin Puppet

A playful pumpkin figure that is a cinch to make!

Craft Project Directions:
To make a basic pop-up puppet, first take a cup and poke a large hole through the bottom of the cup so that a craft stick or a small wooden dowel will fit through it.

Poke the dowel through the hole in the cup and hold it so the top of the dowel is a good ways above the top of the cup.

Next take a horizontal strip of tissue paper that is a bit longer than the area between the cup and the top of the dowel. Select orange or a bright color that you like for this will be your puppet's body.

Tape one edge of the paper around the top of the cup so it won't move and bunch the other edge around the top of the dowel and tape it in place as well.

Add pipe cleaner arms with paper hands just below the top of the dowel and then drape a large piece of tissue over the top. This is the body of your cup puppet!

Now you can cut out a pumpkin head, hat, pants, gloves, shirt, and feet to add on to the cup base, body, and top of the dowel to create the rest of your figure. Then decorate the puppet you wish!

When you move the dowel back and forth the puppet will pop up.

Mysterious Floating Pumpkin

Create a bright orange pumpkin on the move!

Craft Project Directions:

To make this craft project you will need orange balloons, black construction paper, scissors, and glue.

Inflate a bright orange balloon- this will become your pumpkin's face!

Cut out pumpkin face shapes and tape or glue them on to your floating pumpkin.

Decorate your pumpkin head with any other materials you desire and add further enhancements with magic markers if you like.

To display your pumpkin creation, use a medium size cup as a pumpkin stand. Flip the cup upside down and poke a hole in the bottom and pull the balloon knot (at the base of the pumpkin's face) through it.

Secure the balloon to the cup's bottom with tape and decorate the cup colorfully!

Animal Cracker Circus Trains

To make this craft you will need, Animal crackers, glue, construction paper, and a roll of paper.

Take the construction paper and cut it into long strips to make an animal circus train.

Next cut the long strips into separate rectangles (individual train cars) and then cut small rectangles out of them to make windows and places to put animal crackers.

 Leave one of the train cars solid and cut an end of it at a diagonal to make the engine of the train.

Next roll out a long piece of paper that you can glue your train cars onto.

Now assemble your train- glue the cars in place, glue in animal crackers to the cars, add wheels with crayon or by gluing down pre-cut circles and decorate.
