Pirate's Parrot

The Perfect Parrot and pirate companion!

Craft Project Directions:
Using the template provided cut out a pretty parrot from colored paper.

You can make several different kinds of parrots- a parrot picture, a parrot with wings that move, or a parrot puppet- each from the parrot shapes you have just cut out.

For the parrot picture, paste or tape your parrot on a background piece of construction paper and decorate with feathers and other materials.

For a parrot with wings that move, attach the wings to the parrot with a brass fastener and then decorate. To make a parrot puppet, cut out the parrot template with the wings included and decide which side of the parrot will be the back.

Cut a strip of paper about 1 inch thick and 2 to 3 inches long. Lay the strip vertically on the back of the parrot, and push the ends towards each other so the paper strip bends up to create a finger holder for you.

Tape the ends of the strip in place and Decorate!

Enjoy Crafting!
